How will Digg handle affiliate links and spam?
With the community floodgates open, I’m already seeing a wave of posts that look like classic SEO/affiliate spam (“best X for 2026” AI-written style content with affiliate links) from users who have been permanently banned from Reddit for spamming and mass-posting “best X” pages to rank on Google.
Two questions:
Will Digg allow affiliate links in posts and comments when they’re shared organically (not purely promotional)?
Will Digg action users whose primary goal is to create communities just to push affiliate offers and exploit site reputation?
