Have you ever had a personal trainer?

I've never gotten one because I'm kind of a nerd and prefer to figure things out on my own. But now I'm wondering if I'm being silly. I've been stuck in a plateau now for probably years and they could probably break me out. But now also with all the apps available it feels more and more difficult to justify the cost. What say you?
