What are you building right now?

Came here to build this community! Glad to see another Shelley built it 🤩 What are you building right now? Intro thread... I teach interactive design at James Madison University and run a small skin care business and build stuff. Working on transitioning out of academia into full-time entrepreneurship. Just finished building myself a raw material inventory system to replace the subscription that was costing me $400/year. Built a replacement to my own liking in Replit for $150. I hope to eventually turn it into a SaaS tool, as it's a niche that hasn't been very well solved at this point. Everything on the market is either too DIY/crafter oriented or scaled way too big for a small business.

I need to try out Claude Code. I was under the (apparently mistaken) impression that CC was more like a coding helper where you're still writing your own code. My background is open source full stack and I don't want to write my own code anymore beyond tweaks/modifications. But it sounds like I'm missing out. So playing around with Claude Code is on my list of things to do. Snow storm is incoming this weekend and that'll be my lockdown fun as long as the power stays on.
