PSA: New to Dry Herb Vaping, what to buy, where to start?
If you're new to Dry Herb Vaping and you aren't sure where to start, hopefully this brief guide can help point you in the right direction.
Don't be too cheap, you'll have a bad time. Stick with recommended minimum entry level vapes
Do not go to a smoke shop or dispensary to buy a vape. The selection will poorer, the prices will be higher
You can find the best price and availability online, POTV (standard offering of vapes) and vgoodiez (more artisan and heavy hitter focused), dynavap are great resources
Try thinking about what ritual you might like (it's okay to be wrong). There are many different types, portable, desktop, analog with torch, analog with induction heater, conduction, convection, etc. This might be overwhelming, just take a breather, do some research or ask the community.
It's okay to have more than one vape
Be aware of Vape Acquisition Syndrome (VAS), it's easy to end up with a desk, drawer or cabinet full of vapes trying to find the perfect experience
Recommended Starter Vapes
This list isn't to say any other vapes aren't good, but I believe these to be some of vapes that will demonstrate a quality DHV experience at their respective price points.
Planet of the Vapes (POTV) Lobo ($159.95)
Dynavap (you can get these as low as $30, but might want to spend up to $100) use with torch or induction heater such as a wand ($100), they have sales often on dynavap official website
Arizer Solo III, I think this is one of the best vapes in the current market at the price and is very versatile, I would chose this over a TM2 ($240)
Storz & Bickel Venty (Pricy, somewhat riding on their namesake, but will be a first class session style vape) ($400)
You might also want to consider investing in qtips with pointed tips, paper towels, isopropyl 99% and a ultrasonic jewelry cleaner to clean your equipment.
