Neuschwanstein Castle

High up in the Bavarian Alps, Neuschwanstein Castle is a fairytale castle that looks as if it sprang directly from a picture book. King Ludwig II had it built in the late 19th century, and honestly, it's easy to understand why he was so inspired. He was truly fascinated by the Middle Ages, and this place captures that atmosphere perfectly.
