TIL Prof. Hannah Fry turned the Quantum Computer from Devs into a chandelier

This article details the transformation of a complex TV prop into a stunning chandelier for a private residence in London. Inspired by an IBM quantum computer from the series Devs, the prop was converted into a half-tonne luminaire by Eulum Design Custom and Light Bureau, featuring a bespoke suspension system and Casambi-Enabled NDRV wireless lighting controllers. The result is a striking vertical sculpture of gold and copper, pulsing dazzling light onto the surrounding walls in shades of silver and gold.
