These really haven't improved no matter what you read online.

I bought a pair of these Meta Raybans to test and do some demos at my work. I reversed some parts of the APK to discuss with my developers how the AI system was hooked up etc. etc. I haven't touched them in months and frankly never found a practical use for them other than a tinkering challenge. I updated them recently hoping they might support more live translation languages and honestly, I think the AI on it is worse. I use a lot of AI and I am constantly testing different models. The confidently incorrect issue feels like a solved or nearly solved problem. Most consumer ready free tier models err on the side of caution. Meta AI is a complete trash fire. It can't read labels in large print. It has issues identifying objects. Conversationally without images it also still fails on so many levels as well. Don't waste your money people.
