Feedback / App Idea: Would You Use This Markdown App?
I've been daydreaming about a quick/easy app to write in that supports Markdown and no extra "click." Cmd+N and type - it saves instantly and you're on your way.
My thoughts are with apps like Obsidian making local files more friendly and Claude Code (and other LLMs) now moving to local files. Having an app that can quickly capture notes locally in readable & organized formats just makes sense.
Thoughts? Video over on my blog, of if you rather check it out on bsky click here.
Tyler Suits has created a hassle-free markdown editor called Grain, designed to work seamlessly with apps like Obsidian. The editor features auto-save on type, customizable YAML and templates, and the ability to quickly switch between view and edit modes. It also includes options for selecting default folders, saving files in .md format, and providing a warning when no folder is selected.
