Senators urged Apple and Google to remove X and Grok from app stores over sexual deepfakes

Three Democratic senators urged Apple and Google to remove Elon Musk’s apps X and Grok from their app stores after Grok was used to generate sexualized nonconsensual images of real people. The senators cited the companies' terms of service, which appear to forbid such activity, and asked them to enforce their policies.
