Disney has announced a $1 billion investment in OpenAI, enabling users to create videos featuring over 200 characters from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars on the Sora AI video generator. This partnership aims to responsibly extend storytelling through generative AI while protecting creators and their works, according to Disney CEO Bob Iger.
