Shadowmap simulates sun shadows for any location on Earth, offering 3D shadow simulations, sun path tracking, and sunlight analysis for sunrise and sunset photos.

Find out where/when they’ll be shade in your city. Seems to working well for me in NYC from first hand experience. I use it to figure out if I’ll be in the shade when doing some outdoor dining.
