Nvidia launches powerful new Rubin chip architecture
Nvidia has launched the new Rubin chip architecture, which CEO Jensen Huang described as the state of the art in AI hardware. The Rubin architecture, designed to address the growing computational demands of AI, is currently in production and expected to ramp up in the second half of the year. It features a new GPU, CPU, and improvements in storage and interconnection systems, offering significant advances in speed and power efficiency. The Rubin architecture will replace the Blackwell architecture and is already slated for use by major cloud providers and supercomputers.
