What's a sci-fi book that has no screen version but you wish were turned into a movie/TV show?

Personally, I can't wait for a decent adaptation of Roadside Picnic. Tarkovsky's Stalker is a different thing, more of a religious parable, and is far from the book. In 2016 there was an attempt to adapt it into a TV show. Alan Taylor announced a pilot, but WGN America decided not to move forward.

The book is an intense ride through an incredibly well-realized sci-fi world and it would be great to see that world explored in a big-budget series or a film.
