Captain Picard's best inspirational speeches

I know it's a bit dated but still couldn't resist posting. Picard speeches are incredible. TNG remains one of my favorite series of all time.

Fan geek moment: I got to meet one of the guest writers (Melinda Snodgrass) at a comic convention and it was so cool hearing about the writing process behind some pivotal scenes in trek.

I have to wonder though -- would the episodic format and lengthy monologue hold up in modern times? Thoughts?
