EvapoRust DIY Alternative proven by science
Having searched for a homemade alternative to super-effective, but spendy EvapoRust, this is the first video I have found explaining the chemistry, experimentation, and data for their cheap and effective rust remover.

-RECIPE-
For 1 liter of water
add 100 grams of citric acid
To this acidic solution, add one of these bases:
40 grams Sodium Carbonate
(Washing soda)
or
63 grams Sodium Bicarbonate
(Baking Soda)
or
30 grams Sodium Hydroxide
(Caustic soda, Lye, the active ingredient in Drano drain cleaner)
The pH of the final solution will be about 4.
