Having Your Game Be Free on Epic Is Great Advertising for Steam Sales
I'm guilty of this! I just like all my games in one store with all the social features, achievements and friends. I'm not sure Epic will ever make huge leap into the PC space. I still claim them all thought.
An indie publisher found that making their game free on the Epic Games Store led to a 200% increase in sales on Steam. This shows that players prefer buying games on Steam rather than getting them for free on the Epic Games Store.
