Ryan and Zinzi Coogler have made Oscars history

Oakland made history with the 98th Academy Awards nominations, as Ryan and Zinzi Coogler's film 'Sinners' received a record-breaking 16 nominations, including a historic first for a Black director from Oakland. Other Oaklanders, Delroy Lindo and Raphael Saadiq, were also nominated.
