The 'world's first flying car' is now being hand-made in California

Alef Aeronautics, a California-based startup, has begun manufacturing the world's first electric flying cars, the Model A, at its Silicon Valley facility. The 100% electric flying cars, which have a 220-mile driving range and a 110-mile flight range, have received over 3,500 pre-orders worth $1 billion. The first models, being hand-made, will be delivered to early customers in 2026 for real-world testing. Alef plans to ramp up production and deliveries, using lessons learned from early adopters.
Is it really a “car” if its top speed is 25 mph ?
