Muhammad Ali will be honored with a commemorative U.S. postage stamp
Muhammad Ali, the most famous and influential boxer of all time, will be honored with a commemorative U.S. postage stamp. The stamp, featuring a 1974 photo of Ali in his boxing pose, will be unveiled in Louisville, Kentucky, Ali's birthplace and home to the Muhammad Ali Center. Lonnie Ali, the boxer's wife, expressed her excitement about the stamp, which she believes will keep Ali's legacy alive and remind people of his mission of spreading compassion.
He always was funny!
“Muhammad Ali once joked that he should be a postage stamp because ‘that’s the only way I’ll ever get licked.’
Now, the three-time heavyweight champion’s quip is becoming reality.”
