Toyota & Mazda Developing Next-Gen Miata and GR86

Mazda and Toyota plan to collaborate on a hybrid platform for the Miata and GR86 successors, expected around 2028. This partnership could end the Toyota-Subaru tie-up for the BRZ and potentially revive the Toyota Celica name.
