Gen Z has a new trend called ‘Rawdogging boredom’ which aims to improve their attention span.

Gen Z's 'Rawdogging Boredom' trend, which involves intentionally experiencing boredom without distractions, has gained popularity on TikTok. Experts suggest that while occasional boredom can foster creativity and deep thinking, it may not be sufficient to improve attention spans. Regular and mindful engagement in boredom, akin to systematic desensitization, might be more effective. However, the trend's potential benefits are overshadowed by the rapid decline in attention spans, now averaging just 47 seconds, raising concerns about our ability to sustain focus.
