Create a routine for BEFORE exercise. I do the exact same things every time I go to the gym. When I'm not motivated, those little pre workout habits just trigger me into action. Simple things... gym clothes go on, fill the water bottle, grab headphones, get the same playlist ready, pre-workout drink, out the door. None of that feels like a real commitment. But once I start the sequence I just keep going. The thing I realized is you're not really deciding to work out. You're just deciding to do the first thing. The rest kind of happens. After a few weeks the routine becomes the trigger itself.
