University Library Bomb Threats Once Again Rattle Schools Nationwide

At least eight college and university libraries received bomb threats this week, mirroring the swatting incidents faced by similar institutions in October. These threats, received via email, did not result in any physical threats being discovered. This is the second time this academic year that libraries have been specifically targeted in such threats. Libraries have been facing challenges, bans, and complaints since 2021, with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) being a major point of contention.
