Pwn2Own Automotive 2026 concluded with security researchers earning $1,047,000 for exploiting 76 zero-day vulnerabilities in fully patched automotive systems. The competition, held in Tokyo, targeted in-vehicle infotainment systems, EV chargers, and car operating systems. Vendors have 90 days to release security fixes for the disclosed zero-days.
