Google VP says existing Chromebooks may upgrade to Android ‘stack,’ ChromeOS support will continue

Google VP John Maletis confirms that existing Chromebooks will continue to receive software support for 10 years, as promised. While not all Chromebooks will be compatible with the new Android-based platform, many newer devices will have the option to migrate to the new stack.
