The Stanley Hotel Ghost

The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado is claimed to be one of America's, if not the world's, most haunted buildings. It was the hotel that inspired Stephen Kings 'The Shining' after he stayed there in 1974.

The man who snapped this picture of an apparition at the top of the stairs claims there was nobody on the stairs at the time. "I don't like when people are in my shots, so when I took this photo, I had waited until the grand stairwell was cleared of people before taking the pic"
