How do cheaters use Battlefield 6 Hacks, Cheats & Aimbots?
Been grinding Battlefield 6 lately and I keep running into matches that just feel… off. Not just “that player is cracked,” but stuff that makes you question what’s actually possible within the game.
I’m not looking for sources or anything like that, more trying to understand the mechanics behind the problem and how it’s affecting matches overall.
From what I’ve read over the years, most shooter cheats usually fall into a few buckets like:
Aimbots that snap or smoothly track targets
Wall-type exploits that give extra awareness
Recoil or spread manipulation that makes guns unrealistically accurate
If that’s the kind of stuff showing up in BF6, it would explain some of the wild killcams and “how did they know I was there?” moments.
Curious what the community thinks:
Does cheating in BF6 feel more common than in older Battlefield titles?
Are certain modes (ranked-style playlists, high-skill lobbies) worse than others?
Does crossplay make it feel more noticeable, or is that just perception?
Have recent updates or anti-cheat changes made any difference in your experience?
Not trying to accuse every good player, there are definitely some absolute demons out there. Just feels like there’s a growing gap between “insane skill” and “something’s not legit,” and it’s getting harder to tell which is which.
Would be good to hear what others are seeing.
