Why did I create this community?

I want to connect with others who are starting or are in the middle of writing their first novel. I have been working on mine on and off for the past year and I think most writers would agree it can be a lonely endeavor. I am hoping to find some like minded souls who have embarked on this creative journey so we can share our successes and challenges and inspire each other along the way. Cheers!
