What is the best book you've read so far this year?

No books community yet but I figured entertainment would fit. I would say for me it's Parable of the Sower/ Parable of the Talents by Octavia Butler. They are also probably now my favorite dystopian books because they are horrific. I've also been loving the Masters of Rome series by Colleen McCullough, but she loves Julius Caesar a bit too much for them to be my favorite of the year. So how about you?
