The Accuracy vs Performance Trade-off
High-accuracy emulators like bsnes or Mesen aim to perfectly replicate original hardware, but they need more processing power. Faster emulators take shortcuts that work fine 99% of the time.
For most people playing casually, does accuracy actually matter? I can rarely tell the difference, but I know some edge cases exist. Anyone got examples where a less accurate emulator genuinely broke something?
