Tesla's Full Self-Driving is switching to a subscription-only service

Tesla is changing its Full Self-Driving (FSD) option to a monthly subscription service after February 14, as announced by CEO Elon Musk. The current $8,000 purchase option will no longer be available, and FSD will only be accessible via a subscription at $99 per month or $999 per year. This shift might benefit buyers, especially if they plan to sell or trade in their Tesla. However, FSD still requires human supervision and does not meet the criteria for Level 3 self-driving, as it has not achieved the promised 'complete autonomy'.
