Welcome to the Digital Nomads Community on Digg!
Hello everyone!
Welcome to the /digitalnomads community on Digg. Whether you’re currently logged in from a beach in Portugal, a bustling cafe in Medellín, or your home office while planning your great escape, we're thrilled to have you here!
The world of remote work is changing faster than ever. We created this space to be more than just a list of links; we want this to be a living, breathing resource where we can navigate the "nomad life" together.
Why I started this community: I created this space with a specific goal in mind: fostering real-life meetups and genuine connections. Too many platforms now charge hefty subscription fees to find and connect with people in the same city. I believe community should be accessible, so /digitalnomads is here to help organize hangouts, hackathons, and coworking sessions.
What are we looking for?
To get the ball rolling, we'd love to see your contributions on:
The "Now": What’s your current setup? Share your favorite productivity hacks or the gear that’s actually worth the luggage space.
The "Where": Give us the real scoop on destinations. We want the truth about Wi-Fi speeds, the best hidden coworking spots, and how best to respect the local culture while you're there.
The "How": Found a great new remote job board, a clever hack for navigating visas, a trick for mastering slow travel logistics, or a way to stay connected with local communities? Post it!
To break the ice, drop a comment: Where are you working from today, and what is your favorite thing about your current location?
We're here to share the triumphs (and the inevitable travel mishaps) of the digital nomad lifestyle. Digg has always been about discovery. Let’s discover the future of work together.
Looking forward to hearing your stories, building this resource together, and hopefully crossing paths at a meetup somewhere in the world soon!
