Reddit is [...] limiting how many popular communities one person can moderate
Looks like some jimmies have been rustled over the garden wall.
Reddit is phasing out its r/popular feed, which CEO Steve Huffman describes as 'sucks', in favor of more personalized and relevant feeds for users. Huffman explains that r/popular, once the default for new users, does not represent the diverse interests of the community and gives a false impression of a singular Reddit culture. The changes will begin to roll out soon, with Reddit also implementing new policies to limit the number of communities a moderator can oversee, aiming to create distinct leaders for different communities.
