Maximum image size?

I know it's not going to be on top of any wishlist, but I'd like if we could upload images bigger than 10 MB and rather have them auto-compressed.

I tend to posts images taken with my dedicated camera, and the image size is always above 10 MB. For example Discuit doesn't have a limitation on the size, but auto-compresses the images on it's own so I don't have to manually resize them before posting.

Maybe that's an idea for future somewhere down the list?
