SDCC changes art show policy, bans AI-created material
The San Diego Comic-Con has updated its art show policy to explicitly ban AI-created material following significant backlash on social media. The previous policy allowed AI-generated art to be entered but not sold, but this has now been changed to a complete ban. The Art Show Coordinator will be the sole judge of acceptability, and the change reflects the growing controversy surrounding AI art in the industry.
The short version: if you yell loud enough they listen.
