Reading Through the AD&D DMG

I started my tabletop journey with 5e, so to go back and read the 1e DMG has been wild and enlightening. There are so many passages I've come across that provide an answer or procedure to something I've had to just come up with on my own in the later editions. The writing is also VERY different from the new editions. Denser, harder to read, MORE REWARDING.
