Portable, a beloved 60-pound granite bouldering problem from Squamish, mysteriously disappeared last September and was recently found in Bishop, California. Climber Alex Haas and his friends discovered it while climbing near Iron Man, and they confirmed its identity by removing its beanie. The Squamish Chief has not independently verified the boulder's identity as Portable. Professional climber Ethan Salvo plans to return the rock to its home in Squamish.
