Not really a birder but I have been enjoying the show

I set out one of those compressed discs of birdseed and it has been an absolute hit with the locals and those just passing through. There's the black ones with the white bellies, the red ones I think are Cardinals, the brown and black ones (bunch of those), the smaller red and brown ones, the bright green and black ones, the dull green ones with the red bills, the big gray and white ones everybody else avoids... it's all very cool.
