Morning on Camino de Santiago
The pilgrimage walk from nearly anywhere in Europe to Santiago de Compostela in Spain is open also for non-religious hikers. I recommend it if you like a mix of nature and culture, and if you're Christian as well that certainly adds another dimension.
Early morning starts are pretty much mandatory, since you will be kicked out of the inexpensive pilgrim shelters in time for the volunteers there to clean up the place before they head off for work, school or whatever. This means plenty of opportunity to experience semi-dark yet wonderfully lit forests like this one in Leiman, near Sarria, with just a few days to go before reaching Santiago.
