Favorite campsite?

Mine is McClure meadow, in Evolution Valley. It's along the PCT/JMT in the Sierra Nevada mountains, in California. I just happen to live nearby. Still, most pass it by, since it's between Muir Pass and Muir Trail Ranch, and JMT and PCT hikers are always in a rush to get from one of those to the other or otherwise make their miles for the day. But Evolution creek (pictured) is full of golden trout, deer wander into camp all the time, the meadow is beautiful - I've spent days just day-hiking out from this campsite at the West end of the meadow. It's my favorite because folks seem to pass it by on their rush to get from the pass to MTR, or vice versa.

I hope the moderator isn't just camping on the community name. Any aggregator site really only works with contribution and good moderation/curation, so I hope to see more content soon.
