No art background. Does this count as "good enough"? 😆
Hi early Digg! I was recently inspired by this post from to try sharing some of my creations, because why not. I love all the little things that user has posted so far (go check them out!). Because the internet should be a fun place and not everything needs to be nor should be "on brand". So why not??
I also posted this as a reply in another question on about sharing memes. Admittedly, I always feel a bit cringe when posting online. But then I try to remind myself that the internet should be a fun place and creating things and sharing is such an important part of self-expression and what it means to be a person. (We even had a conversation about it here on the )
In 2021 I was trying to get into making some digital art. I haven't done much of it since, but I would like to. A big source of my inspiration is from other online artists who share their work, like Hector Janse van Rensburg . I love this video about how he improved at his craft by just practicing so much, and sharing about it. I want to bring that spirit back to the internet and on Digg.
So... as a developer, we sometimes run into software bugs that we gotta take time to work through and solve. Sometimes that can be sooo frustrating. This comic came about when I was feeling really annoyed about a problem I couldn't figure out. Drawing and expressing my problem in this way felt so cathartic.
It may not be super nice. But... hopefully it's "good enough" for Digg 🙈
