Hi fellow music fans. I’m Mr Wacki, your community founder.
I’m new to moderating, so I’m starting with a simple set of guidelines to keep this space fun, safe, and inclusive. Digg’s mod tools are limited right now (I can only remove individual posts/comments), so I’m going to focus on consistency and transparency. As Digg evolves, these guidelines will evolve too.
Guidelines (V1)
Be cool to each other
No harassment, hate speech, slurs, bullying, doxxing, or self-harm encouragement. Critique music, not people.
Gatekeeping isn’t a vibe
No “real fans” policing or dunking on newcomers. Help people discover.
Keep it about the music (and adjacent culture)
Songs, albums, artists, tours, scenes, history, gear/production talk, playlists, interviews, and real discussion. Off-topic drama gets removed.
Don’t spam or self-promote without contributing
Sharing your band/playlist/video is welcome—just be part of the community too.
Credit + context required
For song posts, use Artist – Track (Year) in the title, and add 1–2 sentences in the body on why it’s worth a listen. For clips/quotes: include the source.
No pirated content
No leaks or illegal downloads. Official links/streams/Bandcamp/merch only.
No memes
No reaction images or meme-only posts—keep it music-first.
Mod discretion + appeals
I’ll remove content that clearly breaks these rules or the spirit of the community.
