I'd put a banner at the top of the page that says "This is the beta", a link to a mission statement or something, a link to a changelog/roadmap, a link to FAQ's. ~60px, goes away when you scroll, dismissable. Would cut down on a lot of (understandable) repeat questions/complain

First off, it has to be mentioned that this is super early days. We're less than a week into public beta. Obviously the community isn't very big or stable, and a lot of features are missing. Spam isn't under control yet. I also think that community rollout was fumbled a bit.
