Is Automattic and WP Dev Community sleeping on AI?

Background: I’ve been working with WP for over 20 years. In the last month I’ve moved 5+ sites to Astro/netlify to save on hosting costs and to improve site speed. That was completed with Claude code over 2 weekends. Feels like moving from a flip phone to an iPhone 10 or so
